Both prefixes will work fine in the schema, as they get bound to the
same URI (http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema).

I have seen xs to be used more often (in products and books). But
interestingly, prefix xsd is used a lot in official XML Schema specs.

So you could use either of the two.
